1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LoseAura.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LoseAura.com.

2. Description of Service

LoseAura is an entertainment platformthat uses artificial intelligence to generate humorous, sarcastic commentary on user-submitted descriptions of social situations. The Service generates fictional "Aura Point" scores for entertainment purposes only.

This is a comedy product. Nothing generated by LoseAura constitutes professional advice of any kind — medical, psychological, financial, legal, or otherwise. Aura Points are not real.

3. Entertainment Disclaimer (The Important One)

LoseAura is not:

• A mental health tool or therapeutic service
• A crisis intervention service
• A diagnostic instrument of any kind
• A substitute for professional support

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US) or your local emergency services.

LoseAura includes automated detection of certain crisis-related language and will surface crisis resources in those cases. This detection is not exhaustive and should not be relied upon as a safety mechanism.

4. User Content

What You Submit

You retain ownership of the text you submit to the Confessional. By submitting, you grant LoseAura a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Process your submission through our AI systems
• Display an anonymized version in the public History Ledger
• Use aggregate data (scores, patterns) to improve the Service

Content Rules

You agree not to submit content that:

• Contains personal information about third parties without their consent
• Constitutes harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of a real person
• Depicts or promotes illegal activity
• Is designed to manipulate or attack our AI systems
• Violates any applicable law

LoseAura reserves the right to remove any submission and to refuse service to any user at any time, for any reason, without notice.

5. The Aura Score

Aura Point deductions are generated by artificial intelligence and are entirely fictional. They are calculated for comedic effect. A score of -50,000 does not reflect any real assessment of your character, intelligence, social standing, or worth as a human being.

"Legally Delusional" is a joke tier label. It is not a legal finding. Jax is not a lawyer. Jax is not paid enough to be a lawyer.

6. Purchases

Aura Recovery (Digital)

Purchases of digital badges ("Certified Delusional" and similar) are final and non-refundable. The badge is cosmetic. It does not restore your actual aura, which was never real.

Merchandise

Custom merchandise orders are fulfilled by Printful and are subject to their fulfillment terms. Refunds for defective or incorrect items will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Custom-printed items cannot be returned unless defective. All payments are processed by Stripe. LoseAura does not store payment card information.

7. Intellectual Property

The LoseAura name, logo, Intern Jax persona, UI design, and all original content on the Service are owned by LoseAura.com. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your Loss Certificates and roast receipts — the ones generated from your specific submission — are yours to share. That's literally the point.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or funny (though we try)
• The Service will be available at any particular time

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LoseAura.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Emotional distress caused by a Jax roast
• Social consequences of sharing your Loss Certificate
• Any reliance on AI-generated content

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10.00.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoseAura.com from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Miami, Florida.

Class action waiver: You waive any right to bring claims as a class action.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify users.
